Within 3 miles from our Head-Office in Villamartin we have three green golf courses, whereof one Championship course.
All three golf courses are open to green fees and various subscriptions.
Other golf courses are already under construction in the surrounding area.
The planning authorities recently declared that we by the year 2010, will be the second most important golf province in Spain.

Why the Costa Blanca & Costa Cálida?

The southern Costa Blanca from Alicante in the north, to La Manga in the south has been described by the World Health Organisation as having the healthiest environment in Europe. With over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average winter daytime temperature of 18ºC the “White Coast” & the "Hot Coast" offer the ideal climate for healthy living. The surrounding mountain ranges from Alicante down to Murcia and on to Cartagena, enclose a fertile plain with long warm summers and mild winters, a welcome change from northern Europe.

To the south of San Pedro the sheltered Mar Menor (the small sea) is 170 square kilometres in area and the largest lagoon of Europe. The water more of a large lagoon than a sea the water temperature never falls below 18ºC and is calm practically all year round. The sandy beaches and shallow waters provide safe bathing for young and old alike. This unique inland sea is also ideal for for the many marinas and clubs teaching a wide variety of watersports.

The cuisine of the many restaurants and Tapas bars in the area are heavily influenced by the Mediterranean and its fish. The best examples come in the rice and fish dishes, augmented by local tomatoes, peppers, beans and cauliflowers. Compliment this with excellent wines produced locally from Jumilla, Yecla and Rioja regions all of which are well worth trying. A dessert of traditional rice pudding made with goats milk lemon rind and cinnamon is followed by coffee and brandy. A truly succulent meal to saviour.
From the high Sierras inland to the shores of the blue Mediterranean lies a vast plain, the warm all year round climate and fertile soil making this famous as the market garden of Spain. |
